Only for messages to someone who just got hired
Let them name the company first
Asking for or writing the company name before anything else makes a congratulations read like an interrogation. Wait until they say it, then swap in "Congrats on [Company]."
One moment from the process
If you saw part of the process — writing cover letters at the library, picking out clothes the night before the interview — write that down. Anyone can congratulate the result alone.
Save "this is just the start" for later
